Where does PAWmerstown At The Manor Take Place ?

We are located on the grounds of Palmerstown House Estate, Johnstown, Kill, Co Kildare.

2 minutes drive from the Naas Ball

15 minutes drive from the Newlands Cross / M50 Red Cow Junction

45 minutes drive from Dublin City Centre

How long can I expect to spend at the event ?

The event will open from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday the 8th of June.

Guests attending are welcome to spend as long as they please at the venue within this time frame.

How many dogs can I bring?

You are permitted to bring with you as many dogs as you are capable of handling responsibly. Please note all dogs must be accompanied by a capable adult over 16 yrs at all times. You are fully responsible for your dog's behaviour throughout the event. The organisers reserve the right to ask any attendee to leave if their behaviour or their dog’s behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

Can puppies attend?

Puppies under 6 months of age must be carried or kept off the ground at all times. This protects your puppy, who may not be fully vaccinated, and other dogs who may be susceptible to the puppy’s possible diseases.

What price are tickets?

Adult (16 + yrs)  €10 + fees

Adults responsible for the handling of dogs must be fit and capable of safely managing them during the event.

 

Child (2- 15 yrs) €5+ fees

2-15 yrs

Must be accompanied by an adult 

 

Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) €25 + fees

1 child goes free with this offer!

 

Infant (under 2 yrs)

Entry is free but ticket must be booked

Are there any breed-specific rules?

If your dog is one of the following breeds or a cross thereof:

[Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, English Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff, Dobermann Pinscher, German Shepherd (Alsatian), Rhodesian Ridgeback, Japanese Akita, Japanese Tosa, Bandog]

You must:

  • Keep them on a short, strong lead held by someone who is capable and over 16 years old.
  • Ensure they are muzzled at all times.

 

As of 1 February 2025, it is illegal to own an XL Bully in Ireland without a Certificate of Exemption.

XL Bullys may be admitted to the event if: 

  • This certificate is presented at entry.
  • XL Bullies must be muzzled and kept on a strong, short lead at all times.
Does my dog need to be on a leash?

All dogs must be kept on a lead (no longer than 4 feet).

Dogs may be let off-lead only in clearly marked off-leash areas, and only if they have strong recall. These areas may not be fully enclosed. See FAQ on restricted breeds for further restrictions

Extendable or retractable leads are discouraged for safety reasons

Are there any measures in place for dogs that are anxious around other people or dogs?

We’re supporting the Yellow Ribbon Project. If your dog is anxious or prefers space, you can pick up a yellow ribbon at check-in to tie to their lead or collar—this lets others know to give your dog a bit more room.

Weather & event changes

This is an outdoor event; please prepare accordingly with water, shade, or rain gear as needed.

The event will proceed in most weather conditions, but safety-related schedule adjustments or cancellations may be made without prior notice.

Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of full event cancellation.

Is this event wheelchair accessible?

Yes we can accommodate wheelchair users throughout the event.

Some small amendments to our planned event will be made to facilitate wheelchair access in the best way possible. If you have any queries in relation to this, please email pawmerstown@atthemanor.ie

Will there be water stations available for my dog?

Yes ! Hydration is key. There will be free water stations are available throughout the venue.

Please feel free to bring your own water dispensers if you would prefer your dog not to drink from a shared water station!

Will there be food/drinks available to purchase at the event?

Yes there will be food and drinks available to purchase from our BBQ Food Village.

Ice Cream, Refreshments, Snacks, Tea & Coffee will also be available to purchase.

Dog treats will also be available to purchase on site for your furry friends!

Is there parking available at the event?

Yes! There will be free car parking available on site within a 5 minute walk of the event. Please use the main Estate entrance and follow the signage and parking attendants to direct you here.

Can I take photos?

Yes we encourage you to bring your phones / cameras to capture pictures of the dogs and of the experience.

If you are taking a photo of another guest's dog, please ask them directly for permission before you do so.

Please note there is no video professional photo taking or video recording equipment permitted at any time.

How can I amend my booking ?

As this is a one day event bookings cannot be amended to another date/time.

If you cannot make your booked session, you can transfer your tickets to friends or family.

Tickets are non-refundable as per T&Cs agreed to when booking.

Why is there a booking fee added ?

These are charges passed on to us for secure payment transaction services to process credit/debit card transactions, also for the installation and maintenance of ticketing systems and all other costs associated with secure online bookings. Please note that refunds under any circumstances, only apply to ticket prices and not booking fees. Booking fees are charged at the start of a transaction for services and cannot be refunded by the operator

How do I add more guests to my booking?

Please purchase the extra tickets directly from our website.

Simply bring both booking refernces with you to ticket check and you will all be able to enter the event together!

I can't find my e-ticket / confirmation email?

Tickets are sent automatically from our ticketing system when you complete an order. It will show up in your inbox from Follow Fox Events via an email address noreply@digitickets.co.uk

Sometimes this can go into spam / junk folders so please check there first if you have not received.

You can email us at pawmerstown@atthemanor.ie if you are still having trouble locating your email and the customer service team will be able to assist with this.

You must show this email on arrival and present the barcode for scanning (we recommend you turn your brightness up and have dark-mode off on your phone for ease)

Are there any banned items ?

Furniture of any kind including portable, fold up chairs, smoke & gas canisters, gas fires, bbq’s, aerosols excluding hygiene/beauty products, airhorns, fireworks, flares, glass, illegal substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’, laser equipment/pens, megaphones, nitrous oxide, sky or ‘chinese’ lanterns, sound systems, spray cans, tabards/high vis jackets, drones.

Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment is prohibited and zoom lenses, audio visual or cinematographic devices will not be permitted on site.
